Posted: June 2008 1957 Elva MK II - serial #100/36Original restored Elva space frame chassis, Coventry Climax FWB 1460cc motor, twin Weber 40 DCOE, billet crank, Carillo rods, proper MGA close-ratio trans, Elva deDion, Alfin drum brakes, roll bar removable, all alloy body (1991) with original body and fuel tank also included. Fuel cell and fire system installed. Recognized at the 1990 Elva Reunion by Frank Nichols as one of his early MK II's, this Elva is believed to be chassis 100/36 imported to the USA by Continental Motors and raced by Charlie Kolb and Frank Baptista at Virginia International Raceway, Road America and Watkins Glen. Accommodates drivers up to 6' 3". Accepted everywhere and eligible for drum brake series. Participant 2007 and accepted for the 2008 Monterey Historics. Race ready. Price: 72,000 GBP |
