Courier Mk IV T Race Car - serial #1188

This 1964 Elva Courier MK IV T (independent rear suspension), has been raced in the US in the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) for its entire life. It is the sister car to Craig Chima's SCCA National Championship ("Runoffs") Winning Car as both were owned and raced by Ed and Mark Brannon (Arizona) prior to being sold to Mr. Chima and me in 2001. The car has a significant racing history including many race wins, lap records, the provisional pole and fastest race lap at the 2000 SCCA Runoffs and fastest top speed at the 2005 SCCA Runoffs.

The car is beautifully sorted and ready to race and includes a brand new carbon fiber body, Penske shocks, Schwitters gearbox (dog ring with Hewland gears), custom splitter and custom Butler Built seat. Many key spares are included with the car, including body molds.

This car includes the Chima/Bauchman prepared National Championship winning engine and carburetors. The headers are copies of the Chima/Bauchman headers. This engine's head was designed through use of proprietary software and the carburetors and headers were designed through extensive dyno testing to make a combination believed to produce the most horsepower of any similarly spec'd 1800cc MGB engine (dyno sheets available upon request).
