Rare - 1 of 19 Elva Porsche Mk7S.

A rare opportunity to purchase one of 19! ever built ELVA Porsches, especially because this car has a unique and completely documented history.

In 1964 Carl Haas imported this ELVA to the U.S. and directly sold the car to Charlie Hayes, who entered it successfully in USRRC (U.S. Road Racing Championship), taking second place in the overall class, just being beaten by Jim Hall in is 5.0 litre Chaparral.

In the following seasons Pierre Phillips owned and drove the car also successfully in the USRRC until he decided to sell it again in 1968. Down to the present day all previous owners and race entries are well known and written down. Of course they can be provided upon serious request.

With the car come about 4kg of papers, among these are letters from Huschke von Hanstein, restoration and service receipts, technical drawings, etc. etc. . This ELVA is powered by an also rare and valuable 1700ccm Porsche 4-cam engine. Some previous owners also used 904 engines or non-Porsche-rotary-engines in former times. The car is restored to a lovely condition (also completely documented) and is race ready (comes with FIA papers).
