Description:
Elva MK 7 S BMW, Chassis number 70/008, year 1963, Engine: BMW 2-Litres n° LHO 094 prepared by Lester Owen, H.T.P. n° GB5262 du 20.04.2005, New rear and front axles, Fuel tanks 2 x 40 litres with 2 separate pumps for the long races. Special upper chassis modification for tall drivers. Gearbox renewed by PHEGA SPORT with new pinions, bearings and final drive. Engine renewed by Lester Owen this winter with a new steel crankshaft. Dyno test 225.5 BHP at 7750 t/mn, oil pressure 82.3 PSI. Dyno test, photos, bills and H.T.P. available. Ready to race. Delivered with 2 sets of wheels and several spares.

Competition History:
The first owner of the car was works driver Toni Lanfranchi for the 1963/64 season. Photography during a race 19th April 1963 in Autosport ( Lotus History book) with Toni Lanfranchi at the wheel. Featured in Sport et Prototypes 1960-69 about the TT at Goodwood 1964 Winner of the best racing Elva Trophy at Road Atlanta in 1990 Winner of Monterey Historics. Featured in September 2001 Sports Cars International. All the owner are known from new: Tony Lanfranchi, Roger Dunbar, Mark Leonard, Mark Mountanos, Joe Maria, Ed Blais, Ivan Scotti, Bernard Wilhelm / Jean-Yves Grandidier. 2008 season: Brands Hatch, Age d’or Dijon, SPA, C.H.E. Dijon 3 hours 2009 season: Brands Hatch, C.H.E. Dijon 3 hours.
