This car has been professionally prepared with a proper 2.0 liter BMW engine producing over 200 BHP with improved Lester Owen rocker arms. It also has an original Hewland HD5 gearbox casing with improved 5 speed FT200 internal gears. Koni aluminum double adjustable shocks, fire system, fuel cell, and six point belts.

Over the years it has been worked on by Mike Giddings, Phil Denny, Bill Schlossnagel, Dave Vegher in California, and Merrill Restorations in Texas. The gearbox has been rebuilt by Taylor Race Engineering in Texas. This car has won the 1961-1965 2.0 liter Sports Racing Car class and it won the 40th Elva Anniversary race at Elkhart Lake in 1995.
