Post THE BRUCE McLAREN MOVIE
Everyone who uses this website is going to be aware of the historic link between The Bruce McLaren Racing Team and ELVA Cars, then owned by the Trojan Group, an Agreement signed in the mid 1960's for ELVA to build the much sought after replica 'customer' cars from the original McLaren designs.
Highly successful race winning cars which still perform at the highest level today.
The film/movie is a wonderful tribute to the achievements of Bruce McLaren and the talented people who played their part in the McLaren team 'family'.
Here is my review ..

" I had very much looked forward to seeing the McLaren documentary film and perhaps appropriately at a theatre in Chichester albeit appropriate for the saddest of reasons.
Knowing that the film was a product of the New Zealand Film Commission and directed by Roger Donaldson (The World's Fastest Indian is one of my all time favourites), it was no surprise that the film is absolutely amazing. The amount of archive material included was astounding and the recreated scenes blended in seamlessly. The personal recollections of the wonderful people who have played such an important part of the story, showed the love and respect for the man that was their inspiration. To have been part of the McLaren family team was something extremely special for all those involved from the very first day; this was beautifully and skilfully shown on the screen and without doubt this continues at Woking today.
An evocative and emotional story .. I doubt that there were many dry eyes in the Chichester theatre on Saturday. "

This really is a must see movie so wherever you are located search for dates in your area, or find time to order the film on DVD or BLU-RAY. This website should help .. http://www.mclarenfilm.com/home/
