Elkhart Lake (Road America),
10-12 Sept 2010
We are celebrating the 55th Anniversary of ELVA at the historic Elkhart Lake circuit where many Elva sports racing cars have competed from the earliest days of ELVA Engineering driven by competitors such as Chuck Dietrich, Burdette Martin, Carl Haas, and ‘Rip’ Ripley amongst many others.
Now, of course many of the cars feature in Historic/Vintage Race Meetings and we are looking forward to a spectacular gathering of all types of ‘Elva’ from the earliest Elva-Climax to later Porsche and BMW powered sports racers; the various Formula Juniors; the Couriers and the spectacular V8 engined McLaren-Elva variants.
The event is going to be special, so make a note in your diary and be there! Details will become available from the VSCDA (ELVF) from their website and of course regular updates will appear here.
You might care to look at the VSCDA Newsletter (Page 9). This includes my nice picture of 'Elvis Elva' ... shame you cannot quite see me in the Elva Mk.IV just a few yards behind the blue Mk.VI desperately trying to catch up with Ann Margaret!
Please get involved whether as owner, entrant, driver, enthusiast or just a gongoozler ... it matters not as we will all have a brilliant weekend. You can contact me or Deb & Mike Korneli who are the Co-Chairs of ELVF via the VSCDA at www.vscda.org will see you there!

EVERYONE GETS AN ADDITIONAL FREE RACE AT ELVF
September 10–12. For 2010 the Sunday schedule has been adjusted to allow everyone to race in two 30 minute sessions, the addition of the cup races for the closed wheel cars and a special session for open wheel cars. That gives you twice the racing for no extra cost. For the featured marque Elva drivers that means 3 races on Sunday, you better bring some extra gas! The ELVF is the best value in racing at Road America, period! Don’t forget the group 1 Le Mans start, ELVF’s 25th anniversary at Road America, 60th anniversary of racing at Elkhart Lake, 55th anniversary of featured marque Elva, Road Course Re-enactment, Gather on the Green and the Saturday Dinner banquet with American racing icon, John Fitch.
DID WE MENTION MORE TRACK TIME FOR FREE? OH YEAH… GUESS WE DID!
