RACE RETRO The International Historic Motorsport Show |
|
ELVA CARS; STAND C48 in HALL 2 for ELVA information and your ELVA-ALE! "The Name Lives On ..... " Our very first visit to the International Historic Motorsport Show was a great success involving much sweat and tears due to a last minute transportation hiccup, however all the exhibition items eventually arrived safely although by the end of the Thursday set-up day I could have easily drunk all the Elva Ale myself! The unique Ford Twin-Cam powered Elva Courier Sebring Mk.IV T-Type owned and raced by Allan Miles was acclaimed by fellow racers who remember how quick this car can be, and the first outing for the Elva Engineering team van created a huge amount of favourable comments and questions. A professional writer has already put together an article for publication very soon, the feature will be added to this website, and the van will also make an appearance at the Goodwood Revival plus several other events over the year. There were lots of people interested in the Bexhill Museum display, in our Elva and McLaren-Elva models, the beer was greeted with huge enthusiasm and even the Elva Ale 'motoring' teddy bears were eagerly grasped by a number of bear collectors. I think we pleased and impressed a lot of visitors to the show, and certainly the brochures went fast and thanks in particular to Dan Mitchell, there were a lot of Elva DVD's sold. Do it again ... you bet! Order an ELVA DVD Order an embroidered ELVA ALE t-shirt |
