Post ELVA-CLIMAX Mk.II with ID 100/60 SOLD
This very interesting example of an early front-engined ELVA sports racer has featured elsewhere on this Forum viewtopic.php?f=14&t=323
however, is currently listed on eBay at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ELVA-MKI ... v4exp=true
Must be worth a look and a bid! Good luck!

I was told that the first eBay "buyer" wanted to do a trade so that deal fell over. Now back on ebay at ...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ELVA-MKI ... v4exp=true

It that car does not tickle your fancy then I am still considering selling my Mk.1B complete with the ELVA IOE conversion as originally fitted to the car. Has great race history, and shown in the ELVA book at page 79.
Full info available on request .. roger@elva.com

i was a bit confused by the advert which said to new body was made when the car was restored in the UK in the 1980's and the car was not driven since. If that's true it should have zeros les on the UK restoration. If so why does the body have cracks and dents which need repair , And the frame a repaint?

... "should have zeros les on the UK restoration" ...

What on earth does that mean? You need to ask the seller directly but I fear my body would have cracks and dents after sitting around for some thirty years ... as a look in the mirror confirms !

This car attracted interest with 66 watching on eBay but no one bid the minimum listed price of £26K. Suspect there will be some after auction negotiations and perhaps the car will return to the UK for plenty of tlc ;)

Well, it seems the car has been SOLD and I look forward to hearing from the new owner once the further restoration of 100/60 gets underway. :D
