Post ELVA Courier in race trim : chassis # 100/200/L SOLD
Here is another eBay listing .. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1961-Elva-Cou ... Sww3tY3EFf
A few questions arise from the description so seems to have been listed by someone other than an ELVA owner, however people are already bidding .. worth a look !!

Post Re: ELVA Courier in race trim : chassis # 100/200/L
An interesting ELVA Courier produced at Hastings around the time of the Trojan takeover of the Courier production hence the chassis plate being factory stamped with '1961' and the high unit number 100/200/L .

The seller reports ..
The first time the car has been offered in 20 years as has been in a private collection. This Courier is a real beauty; the paint is very good with only a few spider cracks. Interior is neat, functional and very comfortable.
Car is in excellent shape with a Fire system, and detachable steering wheel.
Has the 15" magnesium Elva wheels. VSCCA log books.
Has been well maintained and is very competitive.
Courier 100/200/L was completely gone through 10 years ago and has raced only 2 times since.
Low hour 1500cc MGA unit through twin 1 1/2" SU carbs, billet crank, Carrillo rods, JE pistons, stainless valves, Tilton clutch, Tilton pedals and an aluminium flywheel.
The 4-speed gearbox is close ratio.
The 3.9 diff ratio is fitted with a LSD by Quaife. Front drums are the finned Alfin type.
Dampers are by Spax front and AVO rear.
Worldwide shipping.

Appears to be the same car although the ID number not included on this eBay listing ...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/142513491437? ... noapp=true

As previously pointed out the chassis plate showing 100/200/L is not a Trojan built car so well worth a bid but maybe ask questions of the seller who is not ELVA savvy. Car located Stateside.
