There has been email correspondence with regard to the original source of the suspension parts used during the build of the cars generally accepted to be supplied by Standard Triumph … but there were variations of the parts used on the different vehicle manufactured by Standard Triumph in the mid 1960’s era. The specific query related to a Courier Mk.4 front suspension and I knew that Dr. Dan Mitchell here in the UK was most likely to know the answer … here it is … “ Wishbones, uprights, and stub axles plus bearings and seals are all GT6 according to my notes on my first Mk 4 T-Type chassis no E1172 and my current Mk4 T -Type E1125 rebuild data Total years of Mk4 T -Type ownership now 19 ! “ Without doubt the guru!
